Our club championship took place over two evenings this month. Six 20m+5s games with two trophies up for grabs; the main cup for the overall winner and the grading trophy for the best under 1700 graded player.
19 players turned out over the two evenings and much thanks to Phil for organising us.
Derek was the winner with 5.5 out of 6, just ahead of Steve who finished with 5. The game between them turned out to be decisive with Derek clinging on then winning as Steve lost his way in time trouble. Luke won the grading prize after coming out on top in a tie break with Joe and Piotr.
